It’s time to let your imagination run away with you. Morris Moor’s new interactive sculpture is here to be played with by kids and kids-at-heart. 

The intention was a piece of art that was both tactile and educational, and we looked to a child’s toybox for inspiration. Considering the industrial aesthetic of Morris Moor, and specifically the Stomping Ground interior, it made sense to include this style in the design. The result is a swirling, larger-than-life bead maze, akin to those found in doctors’ offices and libraries all over the country. 

We named it the Imagination Machine – an invitation for all our visitors to have a touch, a play, and for some, a nostalgic trip back to their childhood.

The Imagination Machine’s home is at The Stemmery, ideally located in the centre Stomping Ground, Royal Stacks, and Penny for Pound. In other words, it’s perfectly placed to enjoy with whatever treat takes your fancy.
