In the 1970’s a number of new buildings were constructed on site to support the growing team.

This iconic example of brutalist architecture with its impressive concrete spanning roof structure was used as the staff canteen. With over 1,000 people on site, somewhere sizeable was required to keep the hungry crew fed and happy.

Now home to Penny For Pound’s 24 hour commercial bakery, pumping out over 14 tonnes bread and delectable pastries every week and delivering to over 300 cafes, restaurants and hotels statewide.
